Introduction

Welcome to TumkurHub. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform. By accessing or using TumkurHub, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to TumkurHub website and mobile application
  • "Customer" refers to you, the user seeking services through our platform
  • "Service Provider/Partner" refers to professionals offering services through our platform
  • "Services" refers to home services booked through our platform
  • "Booking" refers to service request through our platform
  • "Wallet" refers to TumkurHub partner wallet for platform charges

Consumer Terms

Consumer Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You must have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • You must use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Consumer Responsibilities

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Provide accurate contact information for service coordination
  • Be available at agreed service time and location
  • Make payments directly to service partners as agreed
  • Provide honest ratings and feedback after service completion

Partner Terms

Partner Eligibility

  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally able to provide services
  • Must have valid business registration/GST if applicable
  • Must provide accurate professional credentials and documents
  • Must maintain required licenses and certifications
  • Must pass background verification process
  • Must maintain minimum service quality standards

Partner Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional conduct and service quality
  • Respond to booking requests promptly (within 1 hour)
  • Provide accurate service descriptions and pricing
  • Carry necessary tools, equipment, and materials
  • Maintain insurance and liability coverage as required
  • Comply with all applicable laws and safety standards

Payment & Wallet System

  • Direct Customer Payments: Customers pay partners directly for services
  • No Payment Intermediation: We do not handle or process customer payments
  • Partner Wallet: Partners must maintain TumkurHub Wallet for platform usage
  • Platform Charges: Deducted from partner wallet (not service payments)
  • Wallet Top-up: Partners add funds to wallet via UPI, cards, net banking
  • Transaction History: Complete wallet transaction history available

Platform Charges

  • New booking acceptance charge
  • Featured listing enhancement charges
  • Premium service promotion fees
  • Platform usage subscription (if applicable)
  • All charges are transparent and disclosed upfront
  • Charges may be revised with 30 days notice

Booking & Service Terms

Booking Process

  • Customer selects service type, location, and timing
  • Customer submits booking with service details
  • Partner accepts/rejects booking within 1 hour
  • Contact details shared after booking acceptance
  • Service terms negotiated directly between parties
  • Service completion and payment as agreed

Payment Terms

  • All service payments made directly to partners
  • Payment methods: Cash, UPI, Bank Transfer (as agreed)
  • Payment terms negotiated between customer and partner
  • Partners must provide invoice/receipt upon request
  • Platform charges deducted separately from partner wallet
  • We do not handle payment disputes or refunds

Cancellation Policy

  • Customer Cancellation: Cancel at least 24 hours before service via platform
  • Partner Cancellation: Cancel at least 12 hours before service with valid reason
  • Late Cancellation: May affect ratings and account standing
  • No-show: May result in account suspension
  • Emergency Cancellation: Contact other party directly immediately

Rating & Review System

  • Customers rate partners based on service experience (1-5 stars)
  • Partners rate customers based on cooperation and payment
  • Reviews must be honest, constructive, and respectful
  • No abusive, defamatory, or false reviews allowed
  • Reviews help maintain platform quality and trust
  • We may remove reviews violating platform policies

Liability Disclaimer

  • TumkurHub is a platform connecting customers with service partners
  • We do NOT provide services directly
  • We are NOT responsible for service quality or outcomes
  • We do NOT guarantee partner performance or credentials
  • Users must verify credentials and negotiate terms independently
  • We are NOT liable for disputes between customers and partners

Service Guarantee

  • We verify partner documents during registration
  • We monitor partner ratings and performance
  • We provide platform for communication and coordination
  • We do NOT guarantee specific service outcomes
  • Service satisfaction depends on direct agreement between parties
  • Report serious issues through platform for investigation

Prohibited Activities

  • Booking services with no intention of payment
  • Harassing or abusing other platform users
  • Providing false or misleading information
  • Attempting to bypass platform for direct bookings
  • Posting false or malicious reviews
  • Violating privacy or safety of other users
  • Unauthorized use of platform intellectual property

Account Management

Account Termination

  • Users may deactivate account at any time
  • We may suspend/terminate accounts for policy violations
  • Termination does not affect pending service obligations
  • Outstanding payments remain due after termination
  • Wallet balance refundable upon account closure (after charges)
  • Certain terms survive account termination

Updates & Communication

Terms Updates

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Significant changes will be notified via email or platform notification. Continued platform use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

  • All official communication through platform messaging
  • Email notifications for important updates
  • Customer support available during business hours
  • Report issues promptly through proper channels
  • Maintain professional communication at all times
